I definitely need to get out more – Topshop Olivia Palermo Event

For all of my readers I apologize for my long hiatus, I’m back on the grind now, and have lots of stuff to share with you.  Had a great time last night at Topshop Chicago.

Olivia Palermo, socialite/actress from MTV’s The City, turned stylist, was there styling models with the lovely clothes and jewelry from Topshop. Check out these outfits:

I love their shoes, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t last more than the five minutes it takes to get from my chair to my front door before I was like, nope not gonna make it lol. These ladies were troopers, they stood for at least two hours in those shoes.

Loved that bustier on the model on the right, and the chained dress on the one on the left, hated the crushed green skirt,  eventually she pulled the skirt up so that it was even with the chained dress and then later it was even higher, looked much better that way.  I want that fringe purse too, I have the perfect earrings to go with it:

The stylists were from Kelly Cardenas Salon, I was tempted to get my hair done, but didn’t know if they’d know what to do with my locs and didn’t feel like finding out lol, my grown self is still “tenderheaded” so it would have probably been painful, I’ll do my hair tomorrow myself, it’s about that time.

So as I said in the title I need to get out more, I look forward to the next events.  If you want more in depth fashion coverage check out my friend Nicole’s blog Ooh, Eye Like It.  She has lots more pictures.  I think I may have been looking at the wrong things in there, instead of the ankle snapping shoes, I was really ogling their chairs, I think they’d look lovely with my table, this one was taken by Nicole.
